Step: 1
BEAD COLORS NEEDED:
- Pink - 696
- Toothpaste - 519
- Clear Blue - 102
- Grey - 157
- White - 447
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- Large square pegboard
- Iron and ironing paper
- Tweezers
- Ribbons for hangers
- Craft glue
Step: 2
CREATING THE DESIGN:
Download the PDF for the Easter Egg Ornaments Project Pattern. If you are using a clear pegboard, slide the actual-size pattern underneath it. Place your beads as shown.
Step: 3
FUSING THE DESIGN: An adult should do this step.
Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard. In a circular motion, begin to iron the project. When ironed properly, the beads will still have open centers. NOTE: Beads need heat for about 10-20 seconds per side to fuse evenly; it is possible some colors may need a little more time. Let the design cool.
Remove the paper and bead design from the pegboard. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat the fusing. Let cool completely. When the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Your pegboards and ironing paper are reusable.
Step: 4
ASSEMBLY:
Cut ribbons to the desired length for the hangers. Loop the ribbon through the opening at the top of the egg and tie ends in a knot. Tie bows and glue to the top of the egg.
