Cut a 3 inches length of loop fringe trim and but the bamboo skewer down to 3 inches. Use the hot glue to secure as you tightly wrap the loop fringe around the top of the skewer, creating the center bloom.
Cut a 10 inches length of lace trim. With a hand sewing needle and matching thread hand stitch a row of running stitches along the straight edge of the lace.
Gather the lace into a tight circle by pulling one end of the running stitch thread from either end until a circle is formed. Tie the thread ends together in a knot to secure. Secure the cut edges of the lace with hot glue.
Slide the bottom of the skewer down through the lace circle and secure with hot glue so the lace is even with the top of the center bloom.
Cut a 30 inches length of craft cord trim. Starting 1/2 inch up from the base of the bloom, use hot glue to secure while you tightly wrap craft cord trim around the base of the flower, covering the exposed skewer. Secure with hot glue at the base of the skewer to finish.
Cut two (2) 3 inches lengths of natural burlap band trim and two (2) 2 inches lengths of ivory burlap band trim. Cut leaf shapes from all four trim pieces and layer ivory leaves over natural leaves, as shown in photo. Fold bottom side edges of the outer leaves towards the center and secure with hot glue.
Secure leaves using hot glue, attaching them behind bloom as desired and using the photo as a guide.
Use a safety pin to attach the boutonniere to the garment by sliding it through craft cord trim on the back of the skewer stem.
